The SW-3 proximity sensor is an electronically controlled switch activated by most materials. The switch is activated as soon as the material is sensed close to the upper end of the sensor.

The SW-3 is designed with a built in micro-processor, which gives the unit unparalleled performance in sensitivity, time delay accuracy, ease of setup and a wide range of working temperatures. The SW-3 has a built in change over contact that enables the SW-3 to stop a motor as feed reaches the sensor or to start a motor when there is a lack of feed (NO) (NC).
The adjustable time delay will delay command to auger motor hopper when feed is removed from the sensor to protect the auger motor hopper from going in and out each time feed is going over and under the feed sensor. The time delay is set by two push buttons with a delay ranging from 1 sec. to 2 hours with 10 seconds increments. Connections are made via a 5-core cable direct to the power supply and to the motor overload relay, alternatively to the motor itself (220V AC, max. 1 HP).
Sensors can be mounted in a PG36 screwed gland or with rubber mounting glands supplied by AgroLogic.
The SW-3 proximity sensor can replace any mechanical feed micro switch in the hopper, silo and last pan feeder.
